Problem with SQL Query file

I'm hoping you can help with something.
I've installed the Project Server post SP1 Hotfix in my test lab and all
looks ok, apart from some errors when I execute the websps.sql query file
that forms part of the hotfix. The errors look like this.
There is no such user or group 'MSProjectServerRole'.
Here's an example of one of the entries in the query file that generates the
error.
/* Query #65005 */
CREATE PROCEDURE dbo.MSP_WEB_SP_QRY_GetNotificationAdminInfo
AS
select WADMIN_SMTP_SERVER_NAME,
WADMIN_SMTP_SERVER_PORT,
WADMIN_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE,
WADMIN_NTFY_FROM_EMAIL,
WADMIN_NTFY_EMAIL_TRAILER,
WADMIN_ORG_EMAIL_ADDRESS,
WADMIN_NPE_LAST_RUN,
WADMIN_NPE_NEXT_RUN,
WADMIN_NPE_SCHEDULED_TIME,
WADMIN_INTRANET_SERVER_URL,
WADMIN_EXTRANET_SERVER_URL,
WADMIN_EMAIL_CHARSET
from MSP_WEB_ADMIN
RETURN
GO
GRANT EXECUTE ON dbo.MSP_WEB_SP_QRY_GetNotificationAdminInfo TO
MSProjectServerRole
GO
********************************
I've checked that the MSProjectServerRole exists and is populated with
MSProjectServerUser, so all looks ok. I'm confused as to why the execution
of the stored procedure comes up with the error. The CREATE PROCEDURE part
doesn't appear to work as the stored procedure
MSP_WEB_SP_QRY_GetNotificationAdminInfo does not appear in Enterprise Manager
after the query file has finished executing.
Not being a SQL guy, can anyone give me a pointer as to how I can
troubleshoot this problem? I'm executing the query file as sa, so I don't
think this is a permissions thing.
Thanks
Tony
It appears that you created the proc in the wrong database. Likely, you put
it in master.

Problem with SQL 2005 Beta 2 Reporting Services

I've just installed SQL 2005 Beta 2 onto a Windows Server 2003 SP1 box.
I've installed all the components, including Reporting Services.
When I try to connect to the web site I get the message
The request failed with HTTP status 407: Proxy Authentication Required.
Anonymous access to the web site is allowed.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Laurence

Hi Laurence,
Questions about RS2005 should probably go to the
microsoft.private.sqlserver2005.reportingsvcs. Despite the name it's a
public newsgroup intended for the RS2005 beta and CTPs.
Are you really using Beta 2 from June/July last year? Beta 2 has
functionality similar to RS2000 with little new.
If you are, then you should probably update BUT be sure to read
carefully CTPNotes.mht about uninstall order before upgrading.
The February CTP has new functionality and has fewer configuration
problems than earlier builds.

Problem with SP installation (report server)

Hi all
I face a weird problem with the installation of SP1/SP2. The scenario
is that the report designer gets updated with the SPs that i apply. But
the problem is with the report server. The installation is successful
but the version number in my report server is still 8.00.743.00 even
after applying the SPs.
I have windows 2003 server with latest SP and SQL server (i'm using
MSDE) with latest SP. I do have local admin rights in my machine.
Am i missing something '
Please suggest some solutions.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Prathima.CYes, I don't see how Reports are working for you at all since MSDE is not
supported. It should never have installed in the first place with it. MSDE
is not supported and Personal Edition is not supported.

Problem with Search engine access?

Hi,
We're running a Windows 2000/2003 network.
On Servers running Windows 2003 with or without SP1 and SQL Server 2000 SP3a
or 4, we cannot create any full Text Search Catalogs.
Whatever login we try to use, if we try to create a new catalog, from
Enterprise Manager, we get a dialog box stating "The Microsoft Search Engine
cannot be administered under the present user account"
Running profiler we can see the creation process starting. It appears to run
alright until it gets to the "sp_fulltext_database DBCC CALLFULLTEXT
(7,@.dbid) -- FTDropAllCatalogs("@.dbid") and then generates an Exception
"Error: 7635, Severity: 16, State: 1"
Help!
John,
The error "The Microsoft Search Engine cannot be administered under the
present user account" typically indicates that the SQL login
BUILTIN\Administrator has been removed or altered. Have you or anyone else
removed or altered the SQL Server login BUILTIN\Administrator? If so, can
you add or alter it back with the same parameters? As the MSSearch service
needs all of the default parameters to login to SQL Server, if not you can
use the following SQL code:
exec sp_grantlogin N'NT Authority\System'
exec sp_defaultdb N'NT Authority\System', N'master'
exec sp_defaultlanguage N'NT Authority\System','us_english'
exec sp_addsrvrolemember N'NT Authority\System', sysadmin

Problem with Page break and Visibility expression

Hi,
I am using sql server 2005 sp1 reporting services.
Currently creating a report, which contains several sub-reports held in
separate rectangles. The rectangles need page breaks to be displayed after
the rectangle. I have checked the â'Insert After Rectangleâ' page break
attribute on the General tab.
The problem is I want the page breaks on the rectangle to work when I set
the visibility attribute to false (this allows the rectangle to display). I
am setting the visibility using an expression and the text in the rectangle
displays properly, but the page breaks do not work.
Can anybody shed any light on this?
Thanks.Hello ringt,
This is a known issue in Reporting Services 2005. I am contacting to the
Product Team to check whether there is any workaround. I appreciate your
patience. Thank you!

Microsoft Online Community Support|||You can insert a rectangle into a rectangle, and set a page break in the
inner rectangle and visibility in the outer and paste this nested rectangles
in between subreports. It Visible expression is True, the page break will
work. if Visible expression is False , it will ignore a Page Break. I have
Master report with a few subreports which need to be separated by page
breaks and shown/hidden depending on the input parameters and this approach
worked for me.
